Invisalign vs Normal Braces

There are many advantages to Invisalign and it’s popularity amongst adults and teens is a testament to it’s lifestyle friendly system:

Aesthetic Advantages of Invisalign - The main difference between Invisalign and normal braces is that they are almost undetectable. Whereas traditional braces have metal brackets and fairly protruding attachments, Invisalign braces are like contact lenses for your teeth, with a flush fit, totally clear design.

Practical Benefits of Invisalign – Unlike metal braces, Invisalign aligners are removable and don’t require constant adjustment or tightening. Although the recommended amount of wear time is 20-22 hours per day, as they are removable and easily replaceable for brushing and eating you can forget they are there.

Oral Health Benefits of Invisalign – Traditional orthodontic appliances often trap food particles and make it difficult to properly clean your teeth. As you can easily remove Invisalign they have no impact on your oral health routine. In fact, most wearers feel they improve their healthcare routine by brushing and/or flossing more often, and make healthier food and drink choices despite there being no restrictions on what you can consume.

What is Invisalign?

A better smile can change everything, your confidence, moods and interactions.

With Invisalign, achieving the smile you always dreamed of doesn’t have to be a big deal. In fact, it barely has to impact your day-to-day life at all and no one has to know you’re wearing them.

With over 2.5 million patients treated worldwide including Gisele Bundchen, Eva Longoria and Tom Cruise, Invisalign is widely recognised as the most discrete and lifestyle friendly way to get that perfect smile.

The treatment consists of a series of clear aligners that are changed at home every 2 weeks, incrementally moving your teeth. As they are easily removable, they can be taken out for brushing and eating, unlike traditional braces that are difficult to clean and maintain.

The braces are as invisible on teeth as contact lenses are on eyes, and as easy to take in and out as removing a pair of gloves.
